Green Baby Pak Choy (Chinese Cabbage)

This vegetable was not so common in the Philippines.  It's so happened that when I went to divisoria with my sister, we passed by a vegetable stand and we saw this green leafy vegetable and because we worked  in Hongkong we really missed eating this. To cooked it is so easy, just boil or saute in garlic with steam fish as another main course you will really have a very satisfying meal. According to the vendor, it grows in Baguio. How I wish someday,  there will be more production of this vegetable in all the markets.

Green Baby Pak Choy is one of the most popular vegetables grown and sold in the supermarkets on the West Coast and Orient. This vegetable is also called Shanghai Bok Choy, Ching-Chiang Choy or Ching-Kang Choy in Asia. This fast-growing vegetable has tender green leaves and crispy green petioles. Green Baby Bok Choy has become the most used vegetables in various Oriental dishes due to its excellent flavor, texture and size. There are many varieties developed recently to meet the increasing demands for home garden and commercial crops.
