Bounty Chicken's Chooks to Go....

'Coz it's payday yesterday, Hubby and I rewarded ourselves to have this  as our  dinner. Eventhough I'm in diet, I can't resist the aroma once the foil  was opened. And see that  very sinful  chicken skin?! The blend of the spices really complement to the chicken that gives a great taste. I'm suggesting this viand if you don't have time to prepare a meal or just not in the mood to cook.

Fruity Cake

This was not a goldilocks neither red ribbon cake. Our friend happened to have a friend who has a pastry and cake shop so as his potluck food for our christmas party ( sorry this was too late to post ;) he had this. What I love in this cake were the fresh, sweet fruits. That crown like decoration was a caramelized sugar. The cake itself was so soft and we really like the chocolate icing coz' its not that so sweet. As we expected, after taking some shots we grabbed our forks and saucers and ate it up :0 and we all said in chorus: yummy!!!!
Happy weekend food bloggers...

Hot na Hot Laing

This was prepared by Hubby's friend. Everytime that we will have a gathering, we always request that she will cook her specialty, and that is Laing. This dish was overloaded by red chili (siling labuyo), once you eat this, surely the steam will poured out into your ears and nose wooohhhh... So make sure you always have the saviour: Water... hehehe... happy new year to all!!

Sashimi

I'm still here!!! I missed joining this meme...hehehe... There were lots of food queue at my cam and as long as I wanted to share it all at once,  but my time table didn't permit hehehe... Anyway, my hubby celebrated his post birthday celebration and his bandmates decided to have it at the bar. It's just a simple, relaxing, small bar along the highway at Canlalay, BiƱan Laguna and this was their favorite pulutan because they were able to ordered five oozing platters of it... I'm not into raw fish and I can't take the taste of wasabi. But to satisfy my curiosity I tasted a little bit of that fresh tuna and guess what ???? It brought me stomach ache.

Bangus Madness

My mother bought 2kilos of bangus when she heard that a kilo cost only P50. Of course, she gave me a meduim size and we decided to have it as inihaw na bangus.  I filled it with tomato, onion and lots of ginger.

When I went back to the Philippines, I got the PAL airline (thanks to my employer, she didn't get me cheap airline) As for our lunch, I chose this set (the other set is the fish menu) Adobong baboy, salad ( I forgot what kind of salad LOL!!!) ube cake and a bread from red ribbon, apple juice and coffee (they served the coffee afterwards). I really had a nice and calm flight and of course, so excited to step once again in my Mother Land with my loved ones.

Butt Dimsum

My first entry in FF... So happy I can joined them...

This is one of the chinese dimsums. This shot was taken when I was still in Hongkong. My mother's employer celebrated her birthday and according to chinese tradition they served this food for longlife. Sorry, I forgot the name hehehe... It taste sweet and the dough was really soft. When it was served in our table, I made a grin of  smile for it looks like buttocks LOL!!! Agree?
